How It Started With a Lost Cap

It began with a lost cap.

In the spring of 2025, my husband lost his favourite cycling cap — the one with that perfect reference, the one that felt unmistakably like him. I went looking for a replacement. I searched and searched. Nothing came close. Nothing had the same combination of character, craft, and quiet nod to the world we love.

So I designed one myself.

That was the beginning of Studio Petit Peloton.

We're a small team of two. No investor deck, no grand rollout strategy. Just a shared love for cycling and a belief that the details matter. The cap you reach for before a ride. The one that says something without shouting.

To us, cycling has never really been about speed or stats. It's about the invisible thread that runs between riders. The shared suffering on a long climb, the silent solidarity in a headwind, the small rituals that make you feel part of something larger. Whether you're in the saddle or cheering from the roadside, you know what it means.

That feeling is what we design for.

The Cyclist Series, our first collection, is built around French cycling archetypes. Names that any real fan will recognize: the Grimpeur, light and climbing endlessly. The Rouleur, grinding through every terrain. The Puncheur, explosive and always looking for the attack. Each cap carries a name, and each name carries a world.

We started small: 23 caps, made for friends and family, handed out at the Amstel Gold Race. A founding order, a peloton of our own.

We didn't set out to build a brand. We set out to find a cap worth wearing. And when we couldn't find it, we made it.

Now we make them for you.

Welcome to the ride.
